The Junior Technician will be responsible for performing required installation and maintenance activities at the Plant and if required at other operational sites, in an effective, efficient, and safe manner. Key areas of responsibility for this role include but are not limited to:

1. Assisting with and performance of planned & unplanned maintenance activities as directed;
2. Assisting Technician with the performance of identified project activities as directed;
3. Responsible for planning, communicating, and reporting on maintenance and installation activities;
4. Assisting with the required safety and departmental systems;
5. Compliance to required Safety systems and protocols.

1. A Matric certificate with Maths and Science;
2. A completed NTC2/3 qualification;
3. Preferably a Red Seal Trade tested Artisan;
4. Must have 1 - 2 years electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience;
5. Must have good verbal and written communication skills;
6. Must be computer literate and proficient in the MS Office Suite;
7. Must be willing to work shifts and overtime as and when required;
8. Must be willing to be on standby on weekends and public holidays.
