Introduction
The above vacancy exists in our Packaged Gas department at our Cape Town facility, reporting to the Facility Supervisor. Qualified candidates who meet the requirements of the role are invited to apply.
Job description

This role is responsible for receiving all customer orders for gas and equipment, and processing them from receipt to confirmation delivery status. Monitors customer levels; informs production of customer requirements; reconciling operational stats daily; and briefing and debriefing of distribution team. The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to

1.    Responsible for customer orders;
2.    Ensure customer queries and complaints are attended to timeously;
3.    Ensure effective and efficient stock control;
4.    Responsible for operational statistics daily, weekly, and monthly;
5.    Responsible for dispatching of distribution fleet;
6.    Deputizes in the absence of Supervisor, Foreman, and Office Administrator;
7.    Ensure SHERQ standards are constantly adhered to.


Minimum requirements

1.    A minimum Grade 12 certificate;
2.    A minimum of a post-Matric qualification in administration or equivalent;
3.    Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a customer service environment;
4.    Must have experience with stock control and replenishment;
5.    Strong administrative, verbal and written communication are essential;
6.    Must have good communication skills and telephone etiquette;
7.    Must be able to adapt and work in a diverse environment;
8.    Must be customer oriented and deadline driven;
9.    Proficient in MS suite and JDE system;
10. Must be flexible and willing to work within a shift system.
11 Must have a valid Drivers license & own reliable transport.
