Job description
Overview & Key Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for doing all 1st line support and service desk for the Company. The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Providing 1st Line support on Hardware and software, Desktop, Laptop, Printers, JDE, Microsoft AD & Exchange online, Citrix, and Mimecast.
- Mobile Devices Management & 3G/VPN Support.
- Responsible for 1st Line Security Support.
- Backup support for Senior Network/Server Engineers and Service Desk.
- Ensure compliance with information security and governance and conform to facility safety procedures.
Minimum requirements
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of Matric (with maths);
- A minimum of a Diploma in Information Technology.
- Must have A / N Certified Professional.
- Must have MCSE / MS ITP Certified.
- ITIL Foundation Certified
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in support on Windows OS and MS Office suits, including Office 365.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in administration support on Windows Server 2008 - 2022, Active Directory, and Exchange Online.
- Must have experience and be computer literate in MS SQL, MS Access, MS Visio, MS Projects, MS Office (very strong); Email; Internet Explorer; Edge; Google Chrome; Lotus Notes; JD Edwards; Adobe Acrobat, Citrix.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Able to work with the team and on your own.
