Job description
Overview & Key Responsibilities
The Technical Coordinator is responsible for the facilitation, coordination and monitoring and a range of technical support activities, schedules and across the technical support service (including technical training) and technical project lifecycle. The role requires the use of expertise in engineering, mathematics, and to enable business to make informed decisions and implement effective solutions that drive continuous improvement.
Key areas of responsibility for this role include but are not limited to:
- Perform Technical Administration Activities.
- Co-ordinating and Management of process safety risk management and legislation programs.
- Manage and coordinate technical support service management.
- Project management of technical training-related projects, Technical Engineering projects and/or other duties as required:
4.1 Analyse workflows, identify bottlenecks and streamline processes.
4.2 Eliminating waste, reducing costs, and increasing productivity while maintaining quality standards.
Minimum requirements
Essential Requirements
- A Grade 12/ Matric with Math and Science.
- An Engineering qualification in technical skills development and Industrial Engineering qualifications will be advantageous.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience within the gas industry, L&D, and training is desirable.
- Must have strong Administration skills.
- Excellent capabilities, strong research, and analytical skills.
- Computer literate in MS Office with and high degree of proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
