Introduction
The above vacancy exists at our On-sites Operations department, Vanderbijlpark, reporting to the SHEQ Systems Supervisor. Suitably qualified candidates who meet the requirements of this role are invited to apply. The EH&S Facilitator will be responsible for supporting the company’s Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Management system. Key areas of responsibility for this role include but are not limited to:
Job description
1. Responsible for Contractor inductions, booking medicals, scheduling veriphones appointments;
2. Compiling monthly manhours, stats and loading onto Lotus notes for approval;
3. Ensure that relevant occupational surveys are carried out, co-ordinate facility Safety meetings;
4. Ensure that all SHE requirements are met monthly (including stock availability in First Aid boxes), including quarterly and annual checks;
5. Ensure all relevant documentation is stored on the server, and all training invoices are generated on the system (including JDE orders);
6. Distribute EH&S related content, and control and maintain related registers/reports
Minimum requirements
1. Minimum of a Matric qualification;
2. Minimum of 2 years experience in a Chemical/Gas related industry;
3. Minimum of 2 years experience working with SHEQ management systems;
4. Must have the ability to work in a diverse environment;
5. Strong administrative, verbal and written communication skills are essential;
6. Must be proficient in the MS Office suite, Lotus Notes and JDE system.
